Self-Proclaimed WoW Millionaire A Fraud?
I encountered something the other day that just shocked me. A World of Warcraft player has reached the gold cap limit with three different characters. I couldn’t believe that someone was becoming a millionaire in a video game.
I’m no novice at this game, I have lots of gold; at least I thought I had a lot. Our guild bank have manage to accumulate 10,000 gold with active raiders making donations every week. But 1,000,000 gold? I’m never going to believe this unless I see some proof.
After digging through various forums posts, and some odd searches, I came across the WoW Millionaire’s site, it had a video proof. I know about fake screen captures and private servers, but this video looks legit.
People were running around Ironforge, There were guildies chatting in the guild chat and people making trade offers in the trade chat. There was even a guy asking for a run through VC in the general chat, I highly doubt someone on a private server would want to run VC. This video is very real.
It was still hard to believe someone on a live server could have accumulated that much WoW gold, but I had to accept it now.
What intrigued me about his site was not just the video; the rest of his site caught my eyes too. He seemed to have put together all his WoW gold farming secrets into a bundle package and selling it at a price.
I had to know how he made so much gold. Out of 12 million subscribers, he must have done something that no one else have done. He has to have some kind of secret… right?
Then a thought came over my mind, I’ve seen this kind of sales pages before, and they rarely end up to be what they claim to be. I was certainly intrigued, yes, but I wasn’t willing to fork over the cash yet at least not without a second opinion.
So more research I did. For a change I didn’t see SCAM, SCAM, SCAM, I actually found quite a few positive reviews… I was sold.
I purchased the gold guide, I won’t be the next WoW millionaire, but this guide have certainly helped me farm gold much more efficiently.
